Pictures from the Book Tour
Jennifer's tour takes her to bookstores and readers all over.
Jennifer's last stop was in Anderson, SC at Ooh Lah Lolly, a wonderful store on Main Street filled with books, artisan jewelry and one-of-a-kind work, and gorgeous home decor items. It's the kind of place where you want to look at a million things at once, and everything is artfully arranged.
Lolly and Jane hosted a "bridal shower" complete with a cake that was like the one on the cover of Toss! It was so wonderful. We ate yummy cookies, had punch, and talked about weddings.

The cake from the cover...delicious!

Wedding dresses hung around the store were festive and fun.
On June 9, Jennifer headed to Columbia and the Happy Bookseller. Andy and staff were great hosts.

Later that night, Jennifer visited the Page Turners of Holly Tree. This is a book club that knows how to have a good time! In between snacks and drinks and chatting, Jennifer talked about Toss and the craft of writing. Thanks, Cheyenne for inviting me to your club!

Charlotte was the next stop for the Toss tour. The Charlotte Observer did a great piece on the cover of their Style section.
Sally and Frasier at Park Road Books were the best. It was great to meet you both! Sally McMillan, Jennifer's agent, was there, making it a great day to be named "Sally." (Hello also to Sally B., who stopped in to say hi as well!)

Jennifer's latest stop was in Savannah at Books-A-Million on Abercorn May 27. Manager Margie made the cutest cake! Toss the Bride was featured on the cover of Accent in the Savannah Morning News. (Thank you, Anita!) Thanks for your hospitality, Debbie.

May 26, Jennifer headed to beautiful Beaufort, SC and a signing at Firehouse Books and Expresso. Beaufort is so lovely! Firehouse is located in the historic district and as you might guess, is an old firehouse. The huge front windows used to be open for the horse-drawn fire trucks to enter and exit. Mark and Gayla were great hosts. Thanks, Firehouse!
The Beaufort Gazette ran an essay Jennifer wrote for them about publishing Toss the Bride.

Outside Firehouse near their cozy patio--perfect for relaxing with a cuppa Joe in this beautiful and quaint town!
May 23, Jennifer did a signing at the Barnes & Noble on Hilton Head Island. Since a chapter of Toss takes place on Hilton Head, this was a fun stop. Thanks for your hospitality, Lauri!

May 19, Jennifer did a reading and signing at Malaprops. This was truly a fantasy stop because when Jen lived in Asheville years ago, she bought her books at Malaprops. It was a dream come true to return there as a author. Thanks, Dylan, for hosting.

On the Malaprops bookshelf (!).

Jennifer visited the Open Book May 4 for a signing. She chatted with friends and family (Jennifer grew up in nearby Simpsonville and attended Mauldin High and the Fine Arts Center). The Garden Angel author Mindy Friddle stopped by.
Thanks to the Greenville Journal for a wonderful story (written by Ms. Friddle herself), and to Kathy Spencer-Mention and the Greenville News for a story about quickie weddings that included Jennifer and Toss the Bride.
