Take a Chick Lit Fiction Course with Jennifer This Fall

Join Jennifer at CU-Boulder's Continuing Education and Professional Studies program as she teaches "Chick Lit: Just Another Pretty Face?"

Class begins September 25, 2007 and ends October 30, 2007. Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. There are six sessions on the campus of the University of Colorado at Boulder. The cost is $132.

Popular "chick lit"--books written by women for women--presses a hot button these days. Is it art? Is it only shopping and shoes? Why is it big business, and why do critics have plenty to say about this fiction genre? Class members will read and dicuss chick lit leaders such as Jennifer Crusie, Sophie Kinsella, Johanna Edwards, and Helen Fielding, among others.
