Thomas Dunne to Publish Jennifer's New Novel

Thomas Dunne Books, an imprint of St. Martin's Press (the publisher of Toss), will pub Miss Your Lips Ruth in 2009.

Miss Your Lips Ruth is the story of two formerly close sisters who must learn to adapt to their strained relationship after one of them becomes paralyzed in a horseback riding accident. Along the way, they befriend a widowed artist who is grieving the loss of his wife, Ruth, who died after climbing an old highway bridge.

Miss Your Lips Ruth takes place on the fictional Langdon Island off the coast of South Carolina. Jennifer says, "Living in Colorado, so far from the ocean, has made me long for the humidity and the feeling of sand and salt and wearing a bathing suit all day. Writing Miss gave me endless hours to spend back in the South."

Jennifer is currently in the editing process with the new novel, slated to publish in Winter '09. Check back soon for an excerpt.
